Since returning to Nashville, Dominique has directed her career towards her passion of Diversity and Inclusion. Oky was born in Costa Rica and has dedicated her life to study, work and family, with seven combined years in College and Higher Education institutions, ten years of successful practice in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, ten years of experience in Medical Interpretation and more than twenty years of experience in Advertising, Marketing Strategy, New Product Development, PR and Marketing Management.
Oky Arguello has Bachelor degrees in Performing Arts and Business Administration and holds a Master Degree in Marketing and a Ph.D in Naturopathic and Humanistic Psychology. She is fluent in Spanish, English and conversational Portuguese, and among her many strengths she is great at working with people to get the necessary balance to achieve an emotionally committed team. She has published three books.
In 2013, Oky was honored at Vol State for her work on a successful TBR Access and Diversity grant program. As the Family Outreach Specialist, Oky worked with potential students and their families to navigate the college process. Education about higher education is quite important for the Hispanic community, especially because the American higher education system is much different than the systems in many Latin American countries. Oky organized and lead classes to inform families about college-going and took them on visits to colleges and universities.

Born in Mexico, City. She graduated with Honors at Universidad La Salle with a bachelor degree in Business Administration.
After working for 4 years at Bridgestone de Mexico, her husband was transferred to Lima, Peru where they both had the opportunity to learn the Peruvian culture closely along with a big International Community.
She got very involved as a volunteer with the cultural activities of the Embassy of Mexico.

Currently the President of Make Nashville, a non-profit focused on the Maker, Hardware Entrepreneur, and IoT communities in and around Nashville, TN. Runs the Annual Nashville Mini Maker Faire and the Make Nashville Makerspace including workshops and events.
Matt is a serial entrepreneur who also takes on agile coaching and leadership consulting engagements as well as continuing to mentor some great startups.
Recent engagements include CTO of two amazing customized mobile products companies with very fulfilling social missions to improve lives through education. One did this through software and hardware offerings in the corrections, education, and healthcare industries. The other is a non-profit delivering autonomous learner-led education on tablets to children in areas with poor access to a good education.
Projects include an Internet of Things (IoT) solution, integrating fitness devices and a new mobile app with an industry-leading wellness platform, a revolutionary approach to improving back-end performance for a large wellness company and leading the effort to produce an innovative wellness iPad app incorporating back end data and biometric mHealth data for another Fortune 50 company in the wellness space.
Matt's technical and entrepreneurial ventures include mobile projects (Android, iOS, and firmware-specific), online and offline education technology, edutainment devices, electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage, smart grid, and vehicle-to-grid (v2g) projects, as well as highly scalable social media mashups. Conchita G. Martinez, M.D., FAAFP, Family Medicine Physician, Total Health Medical and Dental; and Faculty Member, Meharry Medical College
Conchita G. Martinez, M.D., FAAFP is a family medicine physician with a passion for mission work who helped lead a team to develop bilingual health care services for uninsured or underinsured families in South Nashville.
Dr. Martinez and her colleagues at Medicos developed a hybrid medical specialty clinic combining family medicine, emergency care and obstetrics, all in one facility; open seven days a week.
In October, Dr. Martinez will launch a new medical practice at Total Health Medical and Dental in Antioch, Tenn.
Dr. Martinez graduated medical school from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Having the desire to be a physician since she was 12-years-old, Dr. Martinez chose family medicine because it allows her to see all types of patients, work in urban or rural settings, and perform mission work.
Dr. Martinez has received international recognition for her travels to Latin American countries to provide a course in obstetrical emergencies. In 2009 she was honored by Nashville Medical News as one of their “Women to Watch.”
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine, the Tennessee Medical Society, and the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians. She has 3 children, and is Assistant Scoutmaster of Watertown Troop 127 of Boy Scouts of America.

Ana Mirian Recinos de Reyes, better known as "Ani" was born in Aguilares, El Salvador raised by her uncles, came to the U.S at the age of 29 with her seven year old daughter Yasmin.
When she arrived in Los Angeles a lady asked her, girl what are you coming here to do, she answered “I would like to open a dining room” then the lady answered: “I have more than 20 years here and I have not managed to do anything” I replied: "my trust is in God that will do something good with me”. Soon after, Any started making food for friends and they encourage her to start selling food despite warnings by her husband of not being easy here in the states as it would in El Salvador. Any recalls: "...but I asked God to help me because I wanted to help my husband with working and pay a debt that we both had. Surely God opened doors for us and when God opens doors no one can close them. I know He gave the blessing to be able to have now what is Pupuseria Salvadoreña Inc., I feel very happy to represent my country of origin and give back to our Nashville community. All our dreams can be possible if we have faith." In September 2008 she opened, together with her husband and daughter, the first restaurant, and now are about to open the third, serving traditional Salvadorean food in Murfresboro.
In 2011, Pupuseria Salvadoreña #1 received the Best of Nashville Critic’s Pick recognition by the Nashville Scene and Emergent Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce during our Hispanic Heritage Month Excellence in Business & Community Awards.
Any is married for 24 years to Hugo Reyes and is the proud mother of Crisia Yasmin, Hugo Zuriel y Annie Yamileth. Yasmin, who come to the U.S with Any at the age of seven, has now completed college with a Biology degree and aspires to continue her education to become a Pediatrician.

Veronica, better known as Vero by her thousands of fans and followers, was born in the picturesque and colonial city of Zacatecas Mexico.
The youngest daughter of her family, made up of her parents Don Roberto Salcedo and Doña Juanita Valdez, and her brother Roberto. From a young age she shown her taste for communications At the age of 14, she was in charge of speaking at the microphone at her family's many parties. She was also a member of the musical choir of the church near her house.
At the age of 17 she was selected in a radio casting call in her town, obtaining one of the first places, from then on and until today it has continued her work in mass media communication, like radio, newspaper and television working in several important cities in Mexico.
Her beginnings were presenting songs of popular groups, later were the news, talk shows, sports, as well as conduct social and institutional events in each city where she has lived. All this has given Vero a great confidence in herself but above all, the opportunity to learn something new every day. Vero is very committed to social and human causes and has many friends in the community. Her energy is a true magnet to the public and loyal fans who tune in to see her news broadcasts as main anchor of Nashville Noticias.

He provides services that include loans, deposits, treasury management, and all other applicable banking services. Luis has a strong history of success in delivering key strategic initiatives around the world and multi-million results while building strong relationships. Luis Parodi received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his MBA in Finance from Butler University.
Luis has received many recognitions and awards including Distinguished Citizen of the City of Indianapolis by the Mayor of Indianapolis Bart Peterson in 2005. Luis was appointed Co-Chair by Mayor Peterson to the Commission on Latino Affairs, created to increase Latino involvement in city government and make city services more accessible to residents. In addition, Luis received The Fifth Third CRA Legacy Award, and the Outstanding Professional Leadership Award from the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Luis has served on the City of Nashville Workforce Investment Board and the Housing Resource Team for NashvilleNext, a Growth Plan for the future of Nashville and Davidson County over the next 25 years.

Loraine studied towards her bachelor degree in accounting at the University of Mayor de San Simón of Cochabamba in Bolivia and is co-founder of La Noticia Newspaper in Nashville. Her work has allowed her to get involved in a variety of Hispanic outreach efforts including business projects and community events.
As part of her volunteer involvement, she is past board member of the American Red Cross and has served on the ALIAS Music Ensemble, and Comprehensive Care Center Board of Directors.
Loraine received the SBA Business Advocate Recognition in 2007 and the NAHCC Outstanding Leadership and Service Award in 2008.
