The Co-op Academy is an intensive 10-week training and support program that helps teams of aspiring entrepreneurs develop worker-owned businesses together. It’s a free business boot camp for cooperative start-ups! The program includes synchronous online training, guest speakers, and the opportunity to apply for non-extractive financial services. - Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with the U.S. Small Business Administration and NAHCC: Join the U.S. Small Business Administration to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! The event will start with a fireside chat in which SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman will join Associate Administrators Bibi Hidalgo and Mark Madrid for a candid discussion about the SBA’s efforts to foster Hispanic entrepreneurship. Next, the Associate Administrators will host a panel discussion to learn how Hispanic business owners have successfully pivoted throughout the pandemic to adapt to a rapidly shifting environment.
