NAHCC partners with Read To Achieve for "A Taste Of Learning" at Lipscomb University
The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Read To Achieve to host the 1st annual"A Taste of Learning"at Lipscomb University Allen Arena on Thursday, March 25, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Come and enjoy a variety of tasty delights from restaurants, and catering services of Middle Tennessee, celebrity judges, music and a silent auction.

The Read To Achieve Summer Program is a warm and caring environment directed by Metropolitan Davidson County educators. This summer program includes participants ages 4 through 13 (Pre-K through 8 grades) with the opportunity for active involvement in the areas of Math, Writing, Reading, and Technology.
The goal of Read To Achieve is to create an exciting and educational setting where all children can learn and apply skills, acquire knowledge, and develop the attitudes necessary to reach and increase their potential. With this goal in mind, the staff of Read To Achieve believe this program will assist the students in becoming life long learners and productive citizens contributing to living in a democratic society.
"As educators, we see the need to provide all students the opportunities to be exposed to long lasting programs in their communities" said Vanessa White, Read To Achive executive director.
